Mike Duncan
“fronts” the band on vocals and acoustic guitar/percussion and
Terry Duncan lays the
foundation on bass/percussion.
Artists represented in our repertoire include Van Morrison, Beatles, Otis Reading, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Michael Buble’, Stray Cats, Frank Sinatra, John Coltrane, Pee Wee Ellis, Duke Ellington, Cannonball Adderley and Herbie Hancock, to name a few.
We are not a purist’s jazz band, but we are a variety band with a “jazz-influence.”
…..If you're looking for a “pure jazz” band, we are not that band.
…..If you're looking for a cover band to “play it just like the recording”..............
.................we're not that band either......that's what the recordings are for ......
….But if you would like to hear some jazz standards, a little-bit-o'-funk, and familiar songs from various genres and eras which are creatively altered to be a little different and more free-spirited, we are DEFINITELY that band.
